Currency

The złoty (PLN) is the official currency and legal tender of Poland. The exchange rate for the USD is 4.74, for the EUR 4.73 (1.09.2022). Currency can be exchanged in bureau de change and banks, which are many in the city center. We do not recommend an exchange at the airport due to the very unfavorable exchange rate.
